I am a curious and open-minded person who can look back on an interesting and varied professional career. With an international orientation, with various stations abroad (India, Singapore, Dubai), I worked mainly in the financial industry as a Managing Director in Executive Management (Swiss Bank Corporation, Credit Suisse, Hong Kong & Shanghai Bank). In my job, I was able to build up and expand various business areas, lead larger and transnational teams, get to know other cultures and many interesting people and their points of view.
I am a co-founder of a software company and during my career I also worked for six years in management consulting for the financial industry and SMEs from a wide range of industries. Being self-employed at the time I broadened my understanding of leadership and business with new dimensions of experience, which was supportive in pursuing, conceiving and implementing my own projects and various start-ups of my own. After selling my former company and leaving the world of finance, I decided to follow my heart and implement a new vision that has always been coherent for me and to pass on my knowledge in my current job as Managing Partner at Living Sense Executive and owner of Living Mindful – Maurer.
It is very motivating for me to move from an expert role into a connecting, accompanying activity to support people in their challenges, to make existing resources and talents visible and to create other access channels to various thematic fields. I was able to experience that we include and exclude certain things depending on our point of view, which leads to different ways of acting and shapes our frame of thinking. We include what is to be “recognised” and exclude what is not recognised. I love working with people and want to inspire you to expand your own thinking framework and help you do what you have always wanted to achieve. I am an open-minded, enthusiastic and versatile personality with a broad and diverse multi-faceted professional as well as personal life experience.
My professional career led me from the Zürcher Kantonalbank to the telecommunication company Orange (today Salt) via Phonak/Sonova to the manufacturing supplier industry of the companies Weidplas and Aebi Schmidt. During these very varied and intensive years, I had the opportunity to work with many interesting people and cultures in a wide variety of functions and hierarchical levels and to lead teams.
In over 25 years of working in the field of human resources, I have gained profound operational and strategic experience in the areas of learning & development, employee, organisational and cultural development as well as in national and international HR leadership functions and as a member of the executive board. I have always been fascinated by the business context and the urge to successfully implement visions and strategies with a motivated team.
A few years ago, I decided to follow my inner desire and to contribute and pass on my broad experience and knowledge in my current position as Managing Partner at Livings Sense Executive and owner of ROWECO AG.
My passion is the professional, solution-oriented and personal as well as individual accompaniment and counselling of companies and teams in all kinds of change processes. I think and act in a decidedly holistic way, focusing on the entrepreneurial spirit. The mindful accompaniment of people with all their facets in different processes and subject areas gives me a lot of pleasure and inspires me in my daily work.

In 1996 I founded the coaching institute living sense, with the vision to inspire people and motivate them to follow their heart and inner wisdom.
At that time I was considered a pioneer in my integral understanding of coaching and was able to play a significant role in shaping the development of the coaching market in Switzerland. Even then, my understanding of the quality of coaching went far beyond solution-oriented counselling. The holistic coaching approach we developed at living sense contributed significantly to the scientific recognition of the effectiveness of coaching.
Motivated by the success stories of my clients and the reputation in the market, I decided to open our coaching programmes to an interested audience. Due to the enormous demand for qualified coaches, a small mentoring programme for young talent quickly turned into a recognised training institution for professional coaches.
Today, the Coaching Institute living sense is considered a leading training centre for coaching and mentoring in Switzerland and beyond. With a “feu sacré” for coaching, I share my experiences and insights from the past years with our students.
With Living Sense Executive, I am celebrating a comeback to my roots in business. With my wealth of experience, I want to make visible the importance of the holistic approach to management.
